One person found deceased in car crash in Luggate

Last Saturday police received a report at around 1.40am of a single-vehicle crash on SH6 in Luggate, near Wānaka airport.

Upon the arrival of the emergency services, one person was found deceased.

The Police Media Centre stated that the Serious Crash Unit attended and that the circumstances will be investigated.
