Not much in life is free, but your local newspaper, The Wanaka Sun, is. The newspaper is completely funded by advertisers – without local businesses advertising their wares, there would be no paper.

When it comes to news, local news is the focus – anything from Makarora, Lake Hawea, Tarras, Cromwell, Luggate and Wanaka.
